Locking Pin

A replacement locking pin for your previous generation Xootr kick scooter should yours become damaged, lost, or you just want a spare. Locking pins are essential for the folding feature of your kick scooter.

It is important to avoid leaving your Xootr kick scooter and locking pin in the rain as that can cause the ball bearings to seize-up. It is a good idea to lubricate the button on the end of the locking pin and the ball bearings on the other end with silicon lube or WD40 at least once a month.  With the push button of the locking pin facing down, simply spray in the end opposite of the push button. Operate the push button about a dozen times to move the lubricant or oil inside the locking pin.
